Tech Talk Tech Talk is a series of instructional classes intended to help individuals better understand the many intricacies of the modern day motorcycle and therefore help them to better enjoy the sport of motorcycling on all levels. We are offer three distinctly different aspects of Tech Talk for you: motorcycle storage and removal motorcycle tech nights custom fabrication Each session of Tech Talk is completely FREE! The classes begin at 7:30pm at the CCBC location. Check out the "Calendar of Events" for a complete listing of the Tech Talk sessions. Info Day & Swap Meet Every Spring CCBC invites all of the local motorcycle organizations to come together and promote the various motorcycle events in the N.C.R. We have now added a Swap Meet to this event! Anyone can have a table selling parts from all sorts of models of bikes. This year's event takes place Saturday, April 19th. Click here to see the poster. Summer Fun Runs New for 2008! Each month we will be planning a different ride as a way of bringing as many people together. We have some very creative events happening (like the Bug Run). For more info, see the poster here. Motorcycle Appreciation Day Every August, CCBC hosts the M.A.D. This event celebrates all the good that the motorcycle community does throughout the year to raise money for many local charities. Registration is now open! May 2008 May 17th Perth HOG Show n Shine Cameron's HD, Perth, Ontario May 24th Ride for DAD This annual event is the features the largest gathering of motorcycles in the region. Each year we volunteer in as many ways as we can. May 31st - June 1st Ottawa Valley Bike Show Finally, Ottawa has a bike show worthy of promoting! We love this event and get behind it in every way possible. Hope to see you there! June 2008 June 7th CCBC Scavenger Hunt Each month we will be having a day long fun event for anyone looking for something to do. The first event, a Scavenger Hunt takes place this day. We will conclude the ride with a BBQ and hangout. More info to follow. June 13th - 15th Pike Falls Classic Bike Show and Rodeo Lanark Trap Club, Lanark, Ontario June 20th - 22nd Ride for Sight Centennial Park, Trenton, Ontario July 2008 July 5th CCBC Bug Run This should be a great day of fun! Each person will be given a piece of two-sided tape that will be placed on their headlight. You then head out and try to gather as many bugs on the tape as possible! We'll follow up with a BBQ and mini-rodeo event. More info to come! August 2008 Aug. 9th CCBC Poker Run Our third "fun day" event will involve a poker run and BBQ. More info to follow. Aug. 15th - 17th Cowpaddy's North Augusta, Ontario Aug. 23rd Motorcycle Appreciation Day Each year our M.A.D. event gets bigger and bigger. We are expecting even more bikes, more prizes, and more celebrating at this year's M.A.D. September 2008 October 2008 October 4th Fall Colour Run & BBQ More info to follow.
