Love the point of view. Everyone honestly, is a poser in something to someone else. An artist, a christian, a republican, a democrat, but I hear it more now in the biker culture.

I hate the word. I don't use it. I honestly don't know what it means. I bought a touring bike because I love to tour. Thats no more real than the guy who bar hops on his sporty, or the guy on a fat boy who enjoys a little wind in his face on weekends. To them, I'm probably a math poser, or a family poser or some crap.

it's a stupid moniker.

Rob, very true about posers....the wannabees...now as you know I'm not a biker....but I like to look...and I like to see a nice bike...so in some respects I am a wannabee....but I'm not a rider!

The same holds true in everything in life....I trade for a living...everyday! there are those who get someone else to do it for them and call themselves traders...buy...buy...buy and they make money as it goes up and tell everyone about it ....and then they lose their shirts when the market goes against them and before you know it...they are gone! The market needs these guys to invest in order to keep cash in it and then the traders can have fun with prices!

In every aspect in life there will always be the real die hards and then there will be those who have another life but still want to have something on the side that they can turn too for meaning or fun.

Look at the the disco movement and Saturday night fever to name a few! Do u remember wearing 4 inch heals with bell bottom pants and hitting every doorway with your head when entering a room?
